If you have a child who is in a specialized program or requires additional support during school hours you must apply by April 14th. Sending in a registration does not guarantee a space; we must first ensure we have the proper staff and supports in place to provide the best care for your child.

  • MobYle

Partners for Play! Let’s Put Play in Your Day!

MobYle is a fun and free organized physical activity program to be implemented in parks throughout each ward in Timmins. Through fun and challenging games and activities run by our MobYle staff, children visiting selected parks will have a chance to engage in moderate to vigorous physical activity in a safe and structured way.

YMCA MobYle is a program made possible by the cooperative effort of the YMCA of Timmins, the City of Timmins and the Porcupine Health Unit. During the months of July and August, our MobYle team will be visiting selected parks in Timmins (see our schedule for locations).

It is our belief that parks are a hub for physical activity and healthy social interaction but are often not utilized to their full potential. Children are becoming increasingly less physically active and need to become more motivated to live a physically active lifestyle. Through the MobYle program we hope to provide an active living solution to the children in our community and raise awareness about the benefits of living a healthy, active lifestyle. By taking part in the YMCA’s MobYle program, children can learn to live healthy through active living.
